Common questions

Do you meet the dogs before their first stay?

Yes, we always schedule a meet-and-greet visit first. It gives your dog a chance to meet us, see the yard, and get comfortable. It also helps us learn about their personality, habits, and any special needs.

What if my dog has special needs or medications?

We can handle most special needs, including medication schedules, dietary restrictions, and behavioral considerations. Let us know during the meet-and-greet so we can make sure we're set up to care for your dog properly.

How many dogs do you board at once?

We keep our numbers small so every dog gets attention. The exact number depends on the size and temperament of the dogs, but we never overcrowd the space.

Can I tour the property before booking?

Absolutely. We encourage it. The meet-and-greet visit is your chance to see where your dog will stay, meet our family, and ask any questions.

What are your drop-off and pick-up times?

We're flexible and work around your schedule. We'll coordinate specific times when you book so drop-off and pick-up are convenient for you.

How much does boarding cost?

Day care is $40 per day and overnight boarding is $60 per night. That is the same rate whatever your dog's size or breed, and we do not charge extra to give medication. Our pricing page has the full breakdown of what is included.

What is your cancellation policy?

Let us know at least 24 hours before drop-off and there is no charge at all. Inside 24 hours we ask for one night's rate, simply because holding your dog's spot means turning other families away. That said, plans fall apart sometimes — if something genuinely unexpected comes up, talk to us and we will sort it out.

What vaccinations do you require?

Current rabies, distemper/parvo (DHPP) and bordetella. A clear photo of the records or an email straight from your vet is fine — nothing formal needed. If you have a puppy partway through their course, just tell us where they are in the schedule and we will work the timing out with you.
